Mazzarri Lavishes Praise From United

Inter Milan manager Walter Mazzarri has lavished the praise from Manchester United by saying that they looked unbeatable. Inter recently came up against United in a pre-season friendly match. After the arrival of Louis van Gaal, the club have undergone a massive transition especially in terms of formation. During the regime of Sir Alex Ferguson, United were famed for sticking with the 4-4-2 formation. Van Gaal, though, has changed this immediately after adopting the 3-5-2 formation that was so popular in his Dutch team at the World Cup 2014.

United recently managed to beat another Italian club, AS Roma, in a friendly match. The 3-2 victory for the Premier league outfit once again cemented their position as one of the top clubs in the world. As a result of the victories over Italian clubs, United have progressed to the final of the International Champions Cup where they will be facing Liverpool. Van Gaal has so far not made extensive changes to the playing staff, as he stated that he was prepared to give the existing players an opportunity to prove themselves under his regime.

It is expected that there will be only a few more arrivals before the end of the transfer window. United have brought in Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw in this transfer window for just over £ 60 million.

“At this moment Manchester United seem unbeatable. They won their first game 7-0 against LA Galaxy and then got an easy enough victory over Roma, despite the late comeback. It will be a great test. We will go there to fight it out, then see what the result is at the end. I know Van Gaal and his methods. We will prepare on a tactical level first and foremost, then I’ll choose the line-up,” said the Inter Milan manager.
