Wales boss Chris Coleman feels Gareth Bale would be best served to remain with Real Madrid rather than pushing for a move back to the Premier League.
The 28-year-old has been strongly linked with a potential exit from the Bernabeu following a frustrating season last term where he managed just 27 appearances.
Manchester United have been identified as the suitable destination for Bale this month, but Coleman insists that Bale should not give up on his Los Blancos career just yet, he said: "I think from our point of view my opinion is that La Liga, the tempo and physicality is completely different to the Premier League. Being selfish, he's better off at Real Madrid. You work all your life to get the top, you don't want to give that up. Where do you go from Real Madrid that's better? There's one or two clubs up there but none better. He was disappointed to miss the Serbia game but there was nothing we could do about that and of course he's won the Champions League again this year."

The talks of Gareth Bale moving to the Premier League have refused to end, even after the player seemed to have ended speculations in that regards when Real Madrid won their third Champions League title in four years.
The Welsh star had recommitted his focus to the Spanish side but there are still strong links to a return to England. Manchester United are the likely option if Bale agrees to return to the Premier League with Jose Mourinho keen on the player.
The former Tottenham winger is also linked with a possible move to Paris St Germain this summer. The French side are ready to break world record to land the player. Madrid broke the record in 2013 when they lured Bale to the Spanish capital for £85million.

Rave of the moment Cristiano Ronaldo scored an early goal that buried the building pressure. Playmaker Isco was truly incredible in the game. Isco sent a well-timed through ball to the Portuguese in only the second minute for him to score. Ronaldo stylishly rounded off Carlos Kameni before sending the ball into the empty net. That was all for the first half.
