Manchester United will be looking to bounce back from their humiliation in the FA Cup as they return to Premier League action to take on Burnley. The Red Devils manager Ralf Ragnick and his players will all travel to the Turf Moor Stadium to take on a Burnley side known to be very stubborn when it comes to playing as a compact team defensively. United crashed out of the FA Cup after getting knocked out of the competition at the hands of Middlesbrough on penalties following a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford last weekend.

Jadon Sancho opened the scoring for the hosts but they were not able to capitalize on their chances and score more goals as they conceded the equalizer that dragged the game into extra-time. There was no tie-breaker even after the extra 30 minutes of football and it resulted to them playing penalties where United crashed out courtesy of an Anthony Elanga missed penalty.

They will now turn their focus to theie next clash in the Premier League and look to win their fixture against Burnley to boost their chances of finishing in the top four this season. Ragnick will also be hoping that he can get his team to be more clinical in front of goal against a more defensive Clare's side than Middlesbrough.

Burnley are currently sitting at the bottom of the Premier League table having won just one of their 18 games this season. According to the team news, Ragnick is expected to make three changes to the team that played against Middlesbrough.

David de Gea is expected to return to the team after bring rested for Henderson. Bailly and Lindelof are both out and it only means that Varane and Maguire are the expected starters in defence.

Predicted Man United XI:
DE Gea, Shaw, Maguire, Varane, Wan-Bissaka, McToninay, Pogba, Fernandes, Elanga, Sancho, Ronaldo.
