WRIGHT ADVISES UNITED ON SIGNINGS

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has called on Manchester United to sign two players if they want to return to the era of winning titles once again. Ian Wright is a former Gunners hitman who became the club's topscorerbefore a certain Thierry Henry overtook him on the Arsenal scorers’ chart around two decades ago. Ian Wright talked about Manchester United and transfers while he was on Premier League TV earlier this week. According to him, the signings of ErlingHaaland and Jadon Sancho will go a long way to help the Red Devils compete better for the major titles. For Ian Wright, it is a no brainer that Manchester United should sign Three Lions of England attacker Jadon Sancho and his Borussia Dortmund teammate, ErlingHaaland.

Manchester United chased Jadon Sancho throughout the transfer window last summer but they were unable to sign the winger. Jadon Sancho didn't have the best of starts to this season and it was attributed to the failed Manchester United transfer in some quarters but the player has done well to bounce back into good form until he suffered an injury problem. He has missed the last few games for his club and the injury may force him out of the England squad ahead of the three World Cup 2022 qualifiers later this month. Jadon Sancho could miss the England games against San Marino, Albania and Poland due to the injury.

Apart from Jadon Sancho, Ian Wright also mentioned ErlingHaaland who opted for Borussia Dortmund ahead of Manchester United when the young Norwegian striker wanted to leave Red Bull Salzburg of Austria at the start of last year. A lot of clubs are in the race to sign him from Borussia Dortmund. Apart from Manchester United, clubs like Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barcelona are also keen on the player.
