Zinedine Zidane Will Not Rush Gareth Bale from Injury

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has confirmed that he will not rush Gareth Bale back from the long term injury.

It has been a disappointing season for the Welshman so far, as he has been out of action since November. His last appearance for Madrid was in the Champions League against Sporting CP. He has recently started training with his teammates and it has sparked suggestions of a quick comeback for the 27-year-old. His presence is certainly required considering that Madrid are going through an injury crisis. Zidane has to deal with the absence of many players at this moment.

Gareth Bale Likely to Miss El Clasico after Knee Injury

Real Madrid have confirmed that Gareth Bale has suffered a very bad knee injury in the 2-1 victory against Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League.

The 27-year-old had to be taken off from this victory with what appeared to be a very bad injury. It made him a serious doubt for the upcoming El Clasico this weekend. Latest reports, though, claimed that the player could be out for a much longer period, although Real Madrid did not specify the time frame. Bale is an extremely important player for the club and his absence would be a major blow for manager Zinedine Zidane.

Claims by The Times says that Gareth Bale, Real Madrid’s playmaker and star player might soon be demanding a pay package that is equivalent to that of his team mate, Cristiano Ronaldo.

This comes on the heels of Madrid’s move to negotiate new contracts with two of its highly valued players.

Five-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi and three time Ballon D’or winner Cristiano Ronaldo have been enmeshed in rivalry for years.

Pay is one of such rivalry, with one seeking to outdo the other when it’s time to get a new deal at their various clubs. It is apparent Gareth Bale and Neymar are pay rivals as well already. Both players are predicted to be the future winners of the Ballon d’Or in the near future, so the rivalry isn’t difficult to notice.

Gareth Bale Reflects on Unforgettable 2016

Gareth Bale claims that it would almost be impossible for him to forget the year 2016. It has been very special for him especially in the last few months.

After managing to win the Champions League title for the second time with Real Madrid, Bale went into the Euro 2016 as an important player for the Welsh national team. There were less expectations of Wales coming into the tournament since this was the first major event in a very long time. However, the performance of Chris Coleman’s team has been one of the biggest talking points after the almost won the title.
